After a hospital in Hanoi and a pediatric hospital in Nha Trang, VK has submitted a design for the Binh Chanh pediatric hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. Together with 2 local partners, 2050 A+P and Nhat My, VK has created an organic design for a 1,000 bed pediatric hospital. An artificial green slope hides the medical services, organised around a central plaza. On top of the slope float the organic hospital wards, connected with the medical services by 3 circulation shafts. This results in a readable entity, translating a complex program into a clear structure.
