As the only Belgian architecture firm, VK has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival. VK submitted the competition design of the Binh Chanh Pediatric Hospital in Vietnam, a collaboration with co-architects Nhat My and 2050 A+P, into the category 'Future projects - Health'. The short lists in all categories were composed by a jury that chose anonymously, based on the design, meaning without knowing the name of the architect.

With this selection, VK feels strenghtened in its design approach, creating healing environments that combine the functional aspects to esthaetically pleasing surroundings. In a next phase, in early November, VK will personally clarify the project for an international jury in Barcelona.
