Brussels has two new/renovated office references. Zenith and Le Marquis were surrendered last month with ample attention from the press. VK ENGINEERING was responsable for the building services of both projects.

Zenith functions as a final piece of the King Albert II boulevard, with many other reference projects by VK ENGINEERING (Ellypse Building, North Galaxy, Belgacom Towers, WTC III). This new offices-project, designed by SCAU and Cerau, focused on sustainability. The facade concept and some energetic solutions result in a K-level of 45 and an E-level below 100.

Le Marquis, right next to the Saint-Gudula cathedral, was completely renovated and refurbished to meet contemporary comfort demands - replacing all services. The trapezoide shape of the building, the variation in ceiling heights and structure called for a flexible approach of the project, and demanded the application of various hvac and lighting installations.
